Corroboree Park Challenge

Corroboree Park Challenge – A True Territory Tradition

Established in 1988, the Corroboree Park Challenge (CPC) has grown to become one of the Northern Territory’s most iconic family-friendly fishing events. Hosted annually by the Palmerston Game Fishing Club, CPC is all about fun, community, and celebrating the incredible waterways of the Top End.

What sets CPC apart is its open format, welcoming members and non-members, junior and senior anglers, and families from across the NT and beyond. It’s fishing the way it should be: relaxed, adventurous, and filled with laughs.

The event takes place in the stunning wetlands and billabongs of the Mary River system, with fishing boundaries covering:

  • Corroboree Billabong
  • Hardy’s Lagoon
  • Mary River Billabong
  • Shady Camp Fresh

The Corroboree Park Challenge is proudly hosted by the Palmerston Game Fishing Club and supported by a growing network of sponsors, volunteers, and supporters. It’s one of the PGFC’s flagship events and a vital part of our mission to grow community engagement through sportfishing in the NT
